You are hereNRB Convention
You may not know it, but there are at least 7 very different NRB Conventions each year in Nashville. I am completely exhausted this year, because I attended 5 of them, but I have been a part of all of these over the years. With the size of the Gaylord you might not know that all of this goes on at the same time.
Which one did you attend?
Sorry for the delay in posting these - it's was a busy Convention!
Most of my examples - Feed the Children and Liberty Institute, etc - were from work I did with Stratmark, and the e-mail, landing page, and donation form software I talked about was 2Dialog. I did this session with Brad Davies from Dunham and Company (great job, Brad!). It was good to see the great work they are doing for ministries as well.

Here are my slides from today's NRB joint Radio-Internet Educational session...
Here are the slides and some notes for my portion of this session today...
"Social Media Saturday" at NRB includes many great educational sessions, plus a new event this year - the Internet Reception (9 pm in Governor's D).
Here are the sessions you can catch me in if you are so inclined...
Christian.org...Doing Life Together!
Christian.org is a great place to:
- Connect your existing group on-line - great for church small groups, Sunday school classes, or Bible study groups. There are many features to facilitate discussion, communication, and collaboration so everyone in your group can stay connected throughout the week.
- Learn the Bible - grow spirtitually by being a part of a Bible disussion group and reading devotionals and Christian articles.
Since 1993, The Ancient Page has made individual leaves (pages) of 16th and 17th century Reformation Bibles, early manuscripts including Hebrew, Latin and Greek, and other artifacts available to collectors, ministries, churches, and individual Christians as beautifully framed works of art.
This month we are relaunching on-line as BibleMuseum.com
Enjoyed presenting with Cathy Allen from Love Worth Finding at NRB 2010. My portion was on Content Management Systems - the latest research from NTEN and others to help you select the best CMS for your website. We talked about proprietary systems (like Convio), and open source (Joomla, Wordpress and Drupal), and I did a quick demo on Drupal and talked about the KoineOPEN Drupal distribution for non-profits.

It was a pleasure speaking on Saturday at NRB 2010. My first session was on Social Media here it is if you missed...
This Saturday is "Social Media Saturday" at the NRB Convention in Nashville. There are 7 workshop Saturday sessions on social media.
I am presenting in 2 of the Saturday sessions..."Social Media: Prepare to Get Connected", and "Twitter: Building Relationships Online", plus the important Monday session "Taking Control: Creating and Managing Online Content" - my part will cover recent research on Content Management Systems, and of course talk about Drupal and KoineOPEN specifically.
