Koine Media primary does Drupal development, but with our experience in project management, training, testing and consulting, we also offer many Drupal solutions for mid-scale to large-scale Drupal projects:

1. Project Management – we can help plan and execute your Drupal project with professional project management.

• Project Plan - We can work with you to develop a project plan, and update the plan weekly.  We typically use Excel and share on Google Docs to work with you and provide frequent project updates.  The project plan can track key tasks, project milestones, budget, resource allocation, and issue resolution.
• Project Website - We provide a collaborative project website- a secure location where team members can share documents; collaborate on the wiki, whiteboard or chat room; track project tasks; and effectively communicate with team members and third-party designers and developers.
• Change Management – if you are migrating an existing site with members to your new Drupal site, effective change management communication with your members is an important aspect of the project. We can assist in developing and executing a plan for change management to create excitement among your existing members and help maximize your investment in your new Drupal site.

2. Site Development – we can help you plan for and build your Drupal site, and help train your internal team so you have total in-house ownership of the site once the project is complete:

• Hosting – we do not do hosting ourselves, nor do we receive commissions from any hosting companies, which means we can provide objective advice as you are selecting a hosting provider. There are several excellent hosting providers that are excellent for hosting Drupal sites.
• Consulting - one of the most important aspects of launching a well-designed drupal site is module selection. With over 4,400 contrib modules available, it is challenging to know which are reliable and which ones will cost you in the long-run. As a Koine client, you’ll have the advantage of our proprietary Koine Module Matrix. The Module Matrix has valuable information on over 100 of the top contrib modules. We will work with you to develop your Functional Design Profile (FDP) which is the blueprint of the features, layout, and preferences for your site. We then use your FDP and match against our Module Matrix to develop your Technical Specification Profile (TSP), a blueprint of your Drupal site that any Drupal developer can take and use to build your site.
• Development and Theming – your entire project will be developed by a team of experts, some with expertise with custom module development (if needed), some experts with site architecture and configuration, and some with expertise in graphics design and Drupal theming. We have a great team for small to mid-size projects, and for larger project we have many connections in the Drupal community and can work with you to bring together a team that can include the Koine team, your in-house resources, and additional consultants and freelancers as needed. If you would like to engage us for the project management, we can bring together the resources for you and be a single point-of-contact for you for the project.

3. QA Testing - QA testing is often overlooked, but it is an important part of the project:

• Testing - We recommend thorough testing of your site prior to launch. We can help migrate your developed site to a Staging server for testing. We can provide a test plan, testing scripts, and testing resources depending on your needs. Depending on your existing site traffic, load testing may also be needed.
• Documentation – as the site is developed, your Functional Design Profile (FDP) and Technical Design Profile (TDP) will be replaced with your Design Manual, which is “the bible” of how your site has been setup and configured. The Design Manual will include notes on each contrib module you are using, and any on-going maintenance tasks that are needed.

4. Site Launch and Beyond – Koine Media will help ensure your site launch is successful, and if desired can continue working with you to grow your site.

• Training - our goal is to ensure your internal team is completely self-sufficient with the on-going maintenance of the site after
  go-live. We can train your team on all of the modules and functionality of your site prior to go-live to ensure they are ready to go on day one.
• Support - on-going support agreements can be arranged to best fit your needs.
